Los Angeles
The night
Doors at 6:30, we sit down at 7. No standing reception, no name tags, and nobody gets up to present anything.
This is the first one, so I’ll be straight with you: I don’t know exactly what it becomes yet. What I know is ten people, one table, good food, and a conversation I’m hoping runs past when the plates get cleared.
Who’s in the room
Founders, engineers, operators, a couple of researchers. Roughly half the table technical. If you’re Muslim and building something in tech or AI, you’re who this is for — whether that’s three people in a garage or a few hundred.
What we ask
Bring something real you’re working on, and be willing to say what’s hard about it. That’s the whole bar. The night falls apart if everyone turns up in pitch mode.
The exact address goes out to the ten people who have a seat, a few days before.
